DJ Matt J

Matt is a Minnesota native and has lived here his entire life. Matt began playing music at a young age and found it was something that came naturally. He took to playing drums and keyboard and started playing in bands. He has performed in many bands over the years. It has allowed him to travel all over the country and around the world performing live.  Matt also works as an AV tech doing live sound around the Twin Cities. He picked up DJing after becoming naturally attracted to it as a musician.

When not DJing, Matt likes photography, playing with his pets, and attending concerts.

I really enjoyed the online planner that is provided by Instant Request. It was easy to use and very detailed. We got paired with DJ Matt a few weeks prior to the wedding and our phone consultation was great. He went over everything on the planner and got back to us right away when we had a question. He was at the venue about two hours before the ceremony so we had plenty of time to go over additional information and to ensure everything was set. The reception was a blast, DJ Matt played many requests and other songs that got people up and dancing, which was most important to us. We had a great time thanks to him!
