DJ Alex N (Naj)
Alex N (Naj) is a Twin Cities native who began has been playing music at the age of seven. Naj started playing piano and over time he began to focus on the drums. By fifteen he stared performing in bands has not stopped. Naj is currently the drummer in a Pop/Punk trio called Curb Appeal. Over the years Naj has sat in with many bands and developed a passion of a variety of music. He has a deep love for punk rock but equally deep love for funk, disco, and old Motown.
Naj currently works in adaptive fitness helping clients re-learn to walk and improving their daily living experiences. He is studying to become a nurse. A big sports fan, you can often find Naj at Twins games.
We could not be happier with our experience working with Instant Request and DJ Alex. From the moment we first connected with him he was extremely responsive, easy to work with, detail oriented, and fun! He made time to speak with us outside normal working hours to accommodate our schedule and even left us a card at the reception. Most importantly — he kept people dancing all night long! Having Alex there was a blessing, and we are so grateful with how he managed the event and worked with us. We definitely recommend using IR for your wedding or event.
My husband and I had our wedding over the weekend. Our dj was Alex Naj. He was so professional yet approachable. We wanted our dance floor to be crowded and he did a wonderful job at getting people to dance! We are so happy that we went with Instant Request and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and great dj!
Instant Request was great to work with! They offered many services and we had them for our ceremony and throughout the evening. Our DJ, Alex, was in communication with us in the weeks leading up to the wedding. We dove into the online planning forum where we could choose songs for specific parts of the night, like the bouquet toss and anniversary dance. He handled guest requests and checked in with us throughout the day to help keep us on track which was helpful as the day was a whirlwind of activity. It is great when the DJ can read the dance floor and keep things going when so many generations are in one place!
We had such a good experience with Instant request and our DJ, Alex! They were communicative, informative and accommodating. We were not sure how lively our guests would be during the reception and were so assured that the DJ could easily adjust to any atmosphere. Everyone ended up dancing and having a wonderful time! Alex even accommodated so many requests from friends and provided microphones for toasts! Highly recommend!
We had Alex (DJ Naj) as our DJ and he was fantastic! The dance floor was full of people the entire night, and there was energy in the room all day. He gladly and quickly played requests that we had. Alex definitely understood our music and shared a similar taste in genres. We all had an absolute blast. He was so fun, easy going, and great to work with! We had DJ Naj (Alex) for our DJ and he was fabulous! We set up our phone conversation with him and were immediately put at ease with his organization. Naj was cool, calm, and fun to be around. He felt like a guest but organized all the details. It was nice knowing early on our wedding day that we had nothing to worry about. Our dancefloor was packed ALL night! Although he didn’t play every song we put on our “selected list” of songs, He totally read the crowd and kept people dancing. That was the most important thing to us and he delivered!
We worked with Alex at Instant Request for our wedding in October! We didn’t want to create a specific list of songs for our reception and asked Alex to play songs based off of the crowd and he did a great job. An awesome mix of music and our guests loved it! Would recommend!

Alex was wonderful to work with. We met via phone to go over specifics and was very easy to understand and was very helpful in directing us on how to use the planner. Day of Alex was professional and friendly as well as flexible. He kept the dance floor packed until the very last song! He even left a postcard in our card box. Instant Request DJ company was such a wonderful company to work with. They were quick to respond to all my questions and there interactive planning portal was very user friendly. Our DJ was Alex Najafalipour and he absolutely killed it with the music! We kept a dance floor popping all night long. He was super friendly and made for a fun atmosphere for my guests. He was very easy going with taking song requests from my guest and we really appreciated that. Overall we had a great experience with this company and would highly recommend!
We had Alex as our DJ for our wedding and he was great! Communicative before and throughout the day, and kept the dance floor active throughout the night. Our wedding reception was turned up to 11 by DJ Alex N. Book Alex and you will not regret it. It’s as simple as that. We had a brief “get to know each other” phone call a week before the event. Alex arrived and set-up as planned. He handled requests and participation. Probably couldn’t have gone better. Thank you, Alex!
All of our guests had a great time, there was a good mix of music genres and people were out on the dance floor all night!

Quick, easy communication that helped us with final decisions and feel at ease going into our big day.
