DJ Andrew D
Andrew’s passion for music began as a young boy listening to big band music with his grandma.
He played the drums in various bands including in a competitive marching band in which he was part of an award winning drum-line. As he grew older and wiser, Andrew developed a very eclectic music taste and he loves finding new music to enjoy and share with others. His music knowledge is expansive!
Andrew was born and raised in Wisconsin and moved to Minnesota for college and law school. He liked it so much here, he decided to stay. When he’s not wearing a suit in the courtroom or on the dance floor, Andrew likes to watch and play sports (GO PACK GO!), explore the outdoors, perform karaoke, play board games and spend time with family and friends.
DJ Andrew D was our DJ, and from the moment he was assigned to our wedding he reached out to us to set up a time to chat. During our call, he listened intently and helped me calm my anxiousness of wanting everything to go smoothly during the day of the wedding. He was more than a DJ! He helped run the show. When I asked him to play the Greatest Showman during our sparkler exit, he not only played the song and got the guests excited, he also played a “mash-up!” of our favorite songs! He was so thoughtful. Our guests had a wonderful time dancing. He was able to get the younger and older crowd on the dance floor by playing a mix of songs. Further, when our caterer made a little mistake that threw off the timeline, he suggested an immediate solution to the problem and helped us remain calm, happy, and in the moment. THANK YOU DJ ANDREW D!!!
We can’t thank you enough for much FUN our wedding day and dance last night was!!! It was truly the best day and thank you for all you did to help things run smoothly and make the dance such a blast for everyone.

Instant Request was extremely easy to work with. Our DJ Andrew Delain was amazing. He was super respectful to what we wanted and helped us stay on track for the reception. He had an amazing playlist that kept people on the dance floor all night. The song guide that Instant Request created was extremely helpful.
We had a wonderful experience with Instant Request. Their communication was fabulous and their pricing options were great. We were assigned DJ Andrew and he was amazing! We received a lot of compliments about him, he kept our dance floor packed. A few days before our wedding we found out we needed to add on ceremony sound for our wedding and Mitch in the office was so kind and helpful. He made the process non stressful and it was taken care of same day.

Instant Request was used to hire our DJ for our wedding on 9/18/21. They were very responsive and very reliable. The DJ we had Andrew was phenomenal the entire evening. He played all the songs we wanted and had people on the dance floor the entire night!

Our original DJ, Chris, was sick the day of our wedding so when we showed up at our reception we were introduced to Andrew. He was amazing and more than I could ever ask for! He had all of our notes printed out and knew exactly what was going on, he was very organized and made our night a wonderful success!

It is the day after our wedding and I am writing a review sooner than I ever planned to because Instant Request (specifically our DJ Andrew D) was responsible for saving the (post-dinner) portion of our day and the world needs to know. My (indoor, supposedly air conditioned) venue had a significant temperature control issue and the area with the dance floor was a sauna. When my vendor team suggested a plan to relocate the dance floor to an area that was cooler and near exterior doors, Andrew didn’t hesitate and moved lots of heavy equipment quickly in the heat to save the night. We had plenty of time to still have a great dance party, which he kept rocking. He played our must plays and brought the energy without being intrusive. We had a couple unique songs to find and even a unique cut point in the father daughter dance and all of these requests were executed perfectly. Everything was above and beyond. Instant Request as a company is easy to work with and we loved their online program, transparent pricing, and quick responses. We would recommend this company and Andrew specifically!
