DJ Angad Y

Originally from Mumbai, India and Singapore, Angad moved to Minnesota after studying in San Diego. He was drawn to MN by a new job and the chance to be closer to family. His journey into music started in the late 2000s with the global peak of EDM. Inspired by legends like Martin Garrix, Armin Van Buuren, and Skrillex, Angad got his first DJ controller for his birthday, and from there, the passion only grew. His first DJ gig came at age 13 when he performed his first solo DJ set at his school. He has been DJing for crowds since.

When not DJing, Angad works as a Marketing Coordinator for a local architectural firm.  He also volunteers with Make-A-Wish Minnesota as a wish granter, helping bring joy and memorable moments to kids across the state. Angad likes car meets,  road trips, gaming, or diving into film and cinema—he even minored in Film Studies. He’s ambidextrous, speaks Hindi and some French, and is a dedicated Timberwolves fan.
