DJ Cecil M

Cecil is a Stillwater native with a serious love for music and a good time. He first stepped behind the decks years ago, DJing house parties on the University of MN campus, and things have only taken off from there. He has DJed numerous football tailgates, packed basement party, and many bars. One of his favorite memories behind the booth was DJing for a huge crowd at the official Gophers football tailgate. Not only was the event great but he got to share it with friends, classmates, and family. He has also DJed weddings where Goldy Gopher himself made a surprise appearance. (The bride and groom were UMN alumni—of course.)

By day, Cecil is a Med Student and EMT. When he’s notworking he loves golf , hockey, or defending his undefeated title in eating contests. (Yes, really.)

He has a love for film, a soft spot for the Minnesota Wild, and a turtle named Pablo to keep him from moving to fast. Cecil speaks French.

He really took the time to make our experience great, whether it was making sure names were right, ensuring microphones were ready, or keeping people out on the dance floor. Even little things like song transitions during the ceremony were awesome. Everyone kept telling us how awesome our DJ was, plus he was a super great guy to work with! We were assigned Cecil as our DJ and he was great! For having a wedding crowd that was on the younger side we wanted someone that understood what music appeals to that crowd and he nailed it! We had a day of adjustment and Cecil was very accommodating. We had also hired him for our ceremony which made things go very smoothly. We also liked the online portal to select music and inform the DJ of how the day is going to go. Would highly recommend them!
