DJ Damani A

Its official, Damani is finally back home in the Twin Cities!  Even though he grew up in the Twin Cities, Damani started DJing over 15 years ago in Cincinnati OH. He went on to become one of the most respected DJs in the Tri-State area. Several years later he had an opportunity to work abroad while continuing his DJing ambitions. While living and DJing abroad (S. Korea, Dubai, and East Africa) he took his DJ abilities to new heights.  There is not a crowd Damani cannot adjust too.  Over the years Damani has really developed a fun style of mixing all our favorite music while keeping his audience on their feet the entire event.  He also has the capability, with his international exposure, to mix in a variety of international genres.

In addition to DJing, one of Damani’s greatest attributes is being able to work with people. He is professional, easy to work with, and willing to go the extra mile.  He has a great laugh.

When not DJing Damani runs his consulting business and actively coaches graduate students attending Bethel University.

Throughout the ENTIRE process the Instant Request team has been amazing. From our initial consultation, scheduling last minute on a holiday my wife and I both had off to learning about the event planning program and their DJ selection process and the actual wedding reception dance we have been blown away and then some! Mitch was our initial contact and was very great at walking us through their process, teaching us the planner and giving us guidance along the way! We chose to be auto-assigned a DJ based on the profile we filled out and our interaction with Mitch We were connected with Damani, DJ Non-Stop, and we were blown away! Damani set up a call with us and talked through his own suggestions which were all really helpful! I was not a fan of some of those “classic wedding songs” and Damani assured me he would tune them up and he delivered! Damani has a great style, definitely active crowd reading, live mixing and he lived up to his name! The dance was NON-STOP!! It was more than we were hoping and dreaming for and we couldn’t be more grateful! Many of our guests were giving us compliments and feedback through the night and weeks after our wedding! He made such an impression! The only bummer was the party had to end! We would hands down work with Instant Request and especially Damani again!
