DJ Erin I
Erin was born in Northern Alabama and raised in Southern Minnesota, and considers both home. She has always loved having music in all aspects of her life. As a student they played clarinet, sang in choir, and performed in musical theater. She went to undergrad for English, but their love of music drew her to search for a profession where she could learn to create music. Aside from DJing, she also hosts trivia nights at bars, and writes freelance.
When they’re not working or enjoying music, Erin spends time with her friends. Their interests include movies, fashion, cooking, baking, and spending time on the beach in the sun. Erin also has a pet cat who is 17 years old, they’ve had him since 3rd grade.
I just wanted to give some feedback on Erin, our DJ this weekend. She was absolutely fantastic. When we needed a little assistance managing timelines, she stepped in and worked with the bartender and the venue staff to get it done. She took all kinds of last minute instructions and emails from us. She was flexible, enthusiastic, and super nice and supportive. Her playlist was awesome, and incorporated everything we asked for, and her transitions between songs were super cool and kept guests guessing as to what the new beat was and what song was coming next. No matter what question or need we had, she was totally unflappable and helpful/knowledgeable.
It was really important to us that she introduce us certain ways and use non-gendered language (I really can’t describe how much I hate the phrase “Ladies and Gentlemen”), and she absolutely nailed every word of it.
Our DJ was Erin and she did an excellent job with everything. She was thorough and organized with all the details. We did our first dances a little different and it turned out exactly how we wanted. She played a great selection of music that had all ages dancing all night. We were very happy that she was our DJ. We will highly recommend.
My wedding was last night and I wanted to pass on that Erin did a great job! The dance floor was full the whole night. I will definitely recommend you guys to others.

Erin was phenomenal! She DJ’d our wedding in June 2023 and we were blown away with how great she was to work with. From the initial call to the last song, she understood what we wanted and we had so many compliments from guests as to how great she was.

Instant Request was a great DJ for my wedding. Reasonably priced package for ceremony sound as well as reception sound & DJ. They have an online “event planner” where you input all of the details of the wedding, including the timeline, songs for the ceremony procession/recession, first dance songs, and songs for dancing. They then assign you with a DJ that fits your needs. Our DJ, Erin Ingram, was friendly and did a great job of DJing – all of our friends had a blast on the dance floor. No complaints!
Instant request Dj was the perfect option for us. Initial meeting went great, an online portal was provided for us to select songs we like vs dislike and even a ‘must play’ and ‘do not play’ section. Then a dj was assigned to us based on some of our input and she could not have been better. Dj Erin was perfect and kept the crowd into the reception all night after perfecting our ceremony!

We could not be happier with Instant Request!! We used DJ Erin for our wedding and she was incredible! All we wanted for our wedding was to have the dance floor packed the whole night, and she delivered. People were complementing us all night on how great the music was. We went back and forth during planning on using a band or a DJ, and we are SO glad we went with a DJ. Instant Request was super easy to work with throughout our wedding planning process and we would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a wedding DJ!!
