We loved every single aspect of Instant Request. They have a great system where you fill out every single aspect of the wedding and really let us be detailed with how we wanted the day to go. Matt, the owner was always very responsive and was able to answer all of our questions while we waited to get paired with a DJ. We ended up getting Justin and it was an absolutely perfect match with us. He listened and got to know us on the phone consultation and everything about the wedding day went super smooth. He was even able to play the Minnesota Rouser during dinner when the Gophers beat Iowa in football. He went above and beyond what we could have asked for.

Thank you so much for your amazing work DJing our wedding in November! The services were perfect and exactly how we envisioned. After going to 10+ weddings in 2022 we truly believe our dance floor was the most packed and the most fun! Of course may be biased, but it was truly an amazing experience working with you!

DJ Justin with Instant Request was an amazing DJ! He was completely attentive and “in tune” to the style of music we wanted during the hosted hour, reception and dancing. He accommodated all of our “must play” songs, and kept our guests on the dance floor with his music mix. The online music planner program was easy to use and helped us plan all the music we needed for the ceremony, hosted hour, dinner and dance party! Their database has thousands of songs to choose from. And when we requested a couple of specialty songs that weren’t on the website, Justin found them online and added them to our playlist! I HIGHLY recommend Instant Request and Justin! 

Our DJ was incredibly professional, sound quality was amazing, especially since we were outside and it was a windy day. Throughout the day and night, he was helpful, receptive, and rolled with us when we got confused about our schedule. He played our chosen songs, some of their own playlist mixed in, and all of our “must plays”. At the end of the night, we told him we would be checking our early and he played our last song. Overall, for the quality and price, I would absolutely recommend Instant Request.

My wife and I (parents of the Groom) would like to thank you for the excellent work by your DJ Justin at our son’s wedding this past Saturday at the Marriott Minneapolis Airport. Even though he was a last minute replacement Justin did an excellent job of keeping up the energy of the room, responding to requests, and ensuring the entertainment portion of the evening went off without a hitch. He did a great job!

Justin was so professional and on point. Our reception got behind as they do sometimes, but from the ceremony to late into the evening he never missed a beat. His communication leading up to our event was stellar, given so many cancelations and COVID positive tests. Some in our own wedding party.

A friend of ours had told us about Instant Request and said how fun their reception was because of the awesome music! Let me tell you, I danced my butt off the whole night. Justin was awesome to work with. With not a lot of guidance from us (my own personal fault), I told Justin that we just wanted everyone to dance and all in all just have a great time. I was able to share my own personal playlists to Justin and he worked in our songs that we had requested, and added his own selections in as well for the perfect mix! Thank you Justin and Instant Request! We will definitely be recommending you to any couples in need of a great DJ!

Justin W was the DJ we chose for our Wedding reception. As soon as we met with him, we knew he was the perfect choice for us. Justin is very experienced and guided us through the reception speeches and dances flawlessly. He kept the guests on the dance floor which was the best part! Instant request made an overwhelming process easy! From their super easy “DJ Planner” program to help you collect your thoughts to the day of, it was excellent. DJ Just was fantastic. Our exchanges in advance of the wedding made the day run smoothly and he took care of business. Our wedding also had a “silent disco” and he rocked it. DJ Just and the Instant Request team were phenomenal. I definitely recommend them.

We chose Instant Request and would recommend them. They were easy to work with and set us up with a great DJ , Justin Wilson. Justin go to the venue early and set up, had very few questions as we went though everything the week before. He started with the ceremony and played the transitions of the songs perfect. He did a great job during dinner and moving the night along to make sure we had the night to dance. Justin was very professional by playing the music that kept the dance floor full. He was able to honor our suggestions of music we picked out. He made our selections later in the evening as well when we could really enjoy ourselves and the night.

Instant Request was one of the most professional and organized vendors we worked with. We booked based on their excellent reviews (and great pricing) and they didn’t disappoint! They have a fantastic event planner tool which contains everything from cocktail hour/dinner background music, to the grand march and first dances, to custom playlists and genres for the dance. We vibed really well with our assigned DJ and he did a great job on the day! The booking came with a discount on uplighting and they had great recommendations for colors and placement in our venue. I would highly recommend booking them!

We attended a wedding that Instant Request DJed in 2018 and it was so good we had to hire them for our own wedding on 10/1/2022. Justin was absolutely perfect. He took the time upfront to talk through what we wanted and delivered exactly what we had hoped. I don’t think I’ve ever been at a wedding that had 3(!!!) encore songs to end the night because everyone just wanted to keep going. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

We had an incredible experience with Instant Request for our wedding this August! Their event planner portal was incredibly detailed – ensuring that you can have as much or as little control over the music as you want! We were assigned DJ Justin Wilson and he was absolutely fabulous – everyone was on the dance floor the whole night and multiple people complimented the music. Can’t recommend it enough!

Justin was assigned to us a week before the wedding. By then we had been able to go into Instant Request’s portal and define everything that we wanted through their relatively easy platform in terms of wedding songs and schedule of events. The call was just to walk through everything, get a vibe check with the DJ that would be working the event, and align on all of the songs that they didn’t have downloaded already. It’s nice that they give the option to add a certain number of songs that they will get for you if they don’t have them already. Justin was great day of. I was really expecting just a, “click pause/click play” kind of thing but he did great at reading the room and working within the playlist we had made to follow the flow of the party. He also nailed it in terms of timing and fade in/out for processional songs. We had said that we didn’t want him to talk a lot (no more polite way to phrase that), and he respected that and didn’t force anything to hype up the guests. Just nicely introduced us, all and all of the toast givers. Technically, everything went off without a hitch. A good sound check, mics provided for the ceremony, no weird moments of sound being too loud or cutting out when someone was talking. We really couldn’t have gotten a better DJ service. Thank you Justin for making our wedding great
