Seth came to Minnesota to pursue an education in music and has found a home in the Twin Cities as a performer, director, teacher and DJ. As an operatic singer and singer/songwriter, Seth has performed on diverse stages such as the Varsity Theater, Fine Line Music Cafe, Ted Mann Concert Hall and The Ordway. Seth has a Master’s degree in music education and enjoys applying his skills as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist to his multifaceted musical career. When Seth is not working with his Saint Paul choral students, DJing or conducting pit orchestras he enjoys hockey, fishing and spending time with his two-year-old son.

We had the best experience with everyone we worked with! We had several unique requests during our dance and everyone who I was in touch with to make them happen was extremely accommodating and made everything super easy and stress free! We were randomly assigned Seth as our DJ and he was amazing!! He took all of our special requests and made them happen exactly how we asked. He also kept everyone on the dance floor all night and never played any songs that killed the vibe like we have seen at other weddings. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and would highly recommend!
We used Instant Request DJ for our outdoor ceremony and reception. Seth was phenomenal! Always prepared, worked with us when we were running late, read the participation of the crowd to get people on the dance floor. We had a ton of special requests and song mashes that Seth helped to make sure that we got everything that we wanted. He also worked well with the kids, showing them how to work the booth and having fun to make their night special as well. I would highly recommend using Instant Request, and especially Seth!
Instant Request was awesome! They were awesome to work with. You can fill out a questionnaire to get matched up with a DJ depending on the vibe of your wedding. Seth was our DJ and he did an incredible job! He knew what to play to keep the dance floor going. We were very impressed with the professionalism, flexibility, and how fun he was. Thanks!
Instant Request and our DJ Seth were amazing! Seth read the crowd and played all the right songs at the right time! He MC’d and did a great job with last minute changes. If I needed another DJ I would pick them again and request Seth! Worth every dime!
Seth was the best wedding DJ I’ve ever encountered. He was nice, organized, and brought a fun energy to our wedding reception. I will recommend him personally for my sister’s wedding next year and anyone else I know getting married.

We were so thrilled with our DJ! He was kind, helpful, and created a wonderful play list during all parts of our wedding. When things were dying down on the dance floor, he was able to read the room and pick out appropriate songs to get everyone dancing again. Would recommend to any couple getting married!
DJ Seth was awesome! We filled out the online event survey and were surprised at how in depth it went but it was so worth it. When it came to the DJ pairing we felt confident that we were going to get matched well because of how much information we were able to put down about how vision for the entertainment. On the big day, the dance floor was never empty!!

We loved DJ Seth at our wedding! Everything about the experience was straight forward and easy. Seth B did an incredible job at our wedding reception! He kept the crowd moving and even joined in on the fun. One thing that I appreciated was that Seth kept communicating with me even throughout the night to make sure things kept on pace (first dance, speeches, etc.). He also did a nice job of taking requests and making sure that everyone was enjoying themselves. My husband and I got married 9/24/22 and had DJ Seth for our wedding ceremony and reception. He was so awesome!!! First, Instant Request’s online event planner is amazing. It is a great guide for planning out certain events and helped my husband and I consider things we otherwise may not have. It helped us stay organized and was a great place for us to keep notes as they came up during the planning process. For our ceremony, I had very specific parts to songs I had always dreamt of walking down/out to. For my processional song, instant request did not originally have the version I wanted. They added it to their database for us. For our recessional song, it appeared the length we had was a little different than in the system but we couldn’t listen to the whole version to make sure our time stamps were correct. We sent our time stamps for the versions we had to Seth and he made sure to find the exact points I wanted in his version – he killed it and I was so happy with the ceremony music and timing! He was such a fun time at the reception, too! Our dance floor was always full. We are still getting comments about what a great party it was, and we owe so much of that to DJ Seth!!! Instant Request was amazing! We have attended many weddings and have found that a lot of people don’t dance anymore. We have now attended 2 other weddings that have been DJ’d by Instant Request and the dance floor was full the entire time. Dancing at a wedding was very important to us, so we went with Instant Request because we saw their success. They did not disappoint! DJ Seth kept people on the dance floor all night long and was very easy to work with. Mitch helped answer all of our questions while we set up our portal and talked us through how everything worked. I would 100% use Instant Request for any occasion.
We had seen a lot of great reviews online for Instant Request and decided to book them for our reception. The event planner was easy to use and the process was straight forward all the way through our event. We met with Seth about a week before the big day and he answered questions and made sure to finalize all the details. We loved how he kept things going throughout the reception and how flexible he was when things changed throughout the night. He played our music and added requests as they came in. It ended up being a great mix of songs. Can’t thank Seth and Instant Request enough for making our day fun and memorable!

We had Seth for our wedding, and he did such a great job! We hired him to play music for our cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, and all were fantastic. During our initial meeting, he was thorough in discovering our specific needs and understanding the flow of the night. He really stuck to the set list we provided, but also read the room to see what people were really enjoying dancing to. He was quick to react to certain events and enhanced each moment as they happened! People stayed to the very end of the night! We highly recommend!
Instant Request exceeded our expectations from start to finish! We used them for our low-key wedding reception.
