DJ Tate S

Originally from MN, Tate lived in North Dakota during high school and college. She got into DJing in a pretty roundabout way. In high school Tate was involved in the theatre and also played the Cello.  She then started helping with the technical side of the theater working with audio equipment. Tate started DJing karaoke events in college and then found herself DJing parties. She has a love for music and DJing is a great intersection of her passions.

When not DJing Tate is a fantastic bartender and loves the social aspect of the job. She is great at connecting with people.  She also cannot leave the theater behind and performed in a Musical version of Footloose recently. Tate also loves watching international Soccer.

Working with instant request was a great experience! From the initial consultation we were excited that everything we hadn't even thought to ask was laid out on their online portal. We were able to make a Spotify playlist as a kind of Pinterest board of songs and our DJ Tate knocked it out of the park. I stayed relatively sober since I could never hold a drink, I was dancing all night. If you have a very specific idea of what you want or just vibes this would be where I'd go.
