DJ Thad T

Thad was born and raised in Shoreview, Minnesota, but his passion for music has taken him across the world. He first started DJing at his fraternity at Iowa State University, but things got serious when he landed weekly gigs at Bars around campus. Since then, he’s been hooked on mixing and producing music, with a deep love for the UK house and garage scene. One of Thad’s most unforgettable music experiences was attending an underground rave in Vietnam—no phones, no cameras, just raw energy and insane live sets from UK DJs. That night solidified his appreciation for the music and the power of live mixing.

By day, Thad works as a full-time aerospace engineer, but music remains a core part of his life. He’s currently focused on producing his own tracks. Outside of music, Thad is a huge film enthusiast and can often be found at shows with friends.  He also speaks French, adding another layer to his international experiences.

They were very helpful throughout the entire planning process, their website had everything you could think of listed for you which was helpful so nothing was forgotten, though it did seem like a clunky website. Thad, our DJ was amazing! It was a gorgeous night so many were outside enjoying it, but he kept the dance floor alive the whole night. He was so easy to coordinate and chat with during the day about what was going on and our ceremony music choices and shifting songs was perfect. Some negative reviews had me nervous, but truly we had a great experience and will recommend them any day.

We had a wonderful experience with our wedding DJ Thad! The wedding website where you select your music does seem pretty outdated and was a little confusing. Unfortunately, my husband and I were drowning in wedding planning and planning the music was not a priority for us, so it could have gone smoother had we put more effort in. We clarified some songs with Thad the day of the wedding, so overall the ceremony & reception was great. Thad brought all of the necessary equipment for the ceremony and reception so it was amazing not having to worry about either of those! Matt was communicative during the entire process as well. Overall, for the value of the service and music played, Thad did an incredible job and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ that won’t break the bank!!
